From what I understand, Minecraft v1.13 will introduce data-packs which are essentially resource packs that support a bunch more types of thing, such as recipes. Minecraft 1.12 introduced a new recipe system which now uses json files that can easily be edited by anyone. I also expect this build of BiblioCraft to break in future version of forge for Minecraft v1.12.0, so that is something to be aware of as you update forge and such at this early junction in Minecraft v1.12.x modding. This is more of a beta than previous releases though since it is missing one recipe, the recipe to turn an atlas into an enchanted atlas for the death compass.
This is pretty much a straight port from the previous version. I just released an update for BiblioCraft for Minecraft v1.12.0. With new features, my focus will be only on 1.12.2 and forward.Īnyway, head on over to the downloads page or on over to curseforge to grab the newest version.
Sometime this summer I would like to do a feature update and add a couple of things that have been on my mind for quite awhile. Most likely I will only worry about bug fixes for Minecraft v1.7.10 and v1.10.2 as those are the most popular versions aside from Minecraft 1.12.2. I’ve only updated Minecraft 1.12.2 so far but I may back-port the crash fixes to a couple previous version here in the near future. Now we can easily move our signs around without having to redo them. I’ve also added one new feature, fancy signs will now retain their data when broken and placed back down. I was able to get a real good roll lately and get a lot of the major issues fixed. A lot of these are issues that I have been stuck on for the past so many months. There are about half a dozen crashes I was able to fix. I just released an update for BiblioCraft.
